Abstract
This study examines the effect of green human resource management on green work performance (GWP) and the mediating role of green work engagement (GWE) in manufacturing enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City. The model was developed from the Ability-Motivation-Opportunity framework and social exchange theory. Following data screening and cleaning, 305 valid observations were retained and analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings emphasize that green human resource policies generate sustainable performance value only when they are translated into employees' vigor, dedication, and absorption in environmental tasks.
