The chapter is guided by the following two objectives: First, an investigation of the effects of alcoholism on health and development among women in the Catholic Church in Kenya and Secondly, an exploration of how Catholic women in Kenya are fighting alcoholism and its effects through various practical measures. To achieve this, the study depended on information from scholarly review of various books, journals and other assorted online resources.
