Abstract

In the contemporary business environment, organizations are undergoing rapid and continuous change driven by technological advancements, globalization, and evolving workforce expectations. Among various leadership approaches, transformational leadership has emerged as a critical driver of organizational change, particularly in the context of digitalization. Digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, and digital communication platforms are reshaping managerial practices, organizational structures, and employee engagement models. As a result, leaders are required not only to manage change but also to inspire, motivate, and guide employees through complex digital transformations. This research paper examines the role of transformational leadership in facilitating organizational change in the digital era. It explores how digitalization influences leadership styles, decision-making processes, and change management practices in modern organizations. Using a conceptual and analytical framework supported by secondary data and comparative analysis, the study highlights the importance of visionary leadership, digital competencies, and adaptive organizational cultures. The findings suggest that transformational leadership, when effectively aligned with digital strategies, enhances organizational agility, innovation capacity, and long-term sustainability.
