Abstract
Youth entrepreneurship has emerged as a critical driver of socioeconomic development in both developed and developing nations. By fostering innovation, generating employment, and enhancing community resilience, young entrepreneurs contribute significantly to national growth. However, challenges such as limited access to finance, inadequate mentorship, weak institutional support, and socio-cultural barriers continue to hinder youth participation in entrepreneurial activities. This paper explores the dual aspects of opportunities and challenges faced by youth entrepreneurs, examining case studies from different regions to highlight best practices and policy recommendations. Findings reveal that targeted interventions—such as entrepreneurship education, financial inclusion, and supportive ecosystems—can enable youth-led businesses to flourish and thereby contribute meaningfully to sustainable development.
