31 January 2026 · Vol. 2, Issue 1, pp. 1-3

Abstract

The digital era has fundamentally transformed the landscape of strategic management, compelling organizations to rethink traditional approaches to competitiveness, growth, and long-term value creation. Rapid advancements in digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, and digital platforms have reshaped how firms innovate, operate, and compete in global markets. At the same time, rising concerns about environmental sustainability and social responsibility have expanded the scope of strategic decision-making beyond profit maximization. This research paper examines the evolving role of strategic management in the digital era, with a particular focus on how organizations navigate innovation, sustainability, and globalization simultaneously. The study adopts a conceptual and analytical approach based on secondary data and comparative analysis. It highlights the strategic challenges and opportunities created by digital transformation and explores how firms integrate digital innovation with sustainable practices while operating in increasingly interconnected global markets. The findings suggest that successful strategic management in the digital era requires dynamic capabilities, adaptive leadership, and a balanced alignment between technological innovation, sustainability goals, and global competitiveness.
