Abstract
Childbirth among ethnic minority teenagers is one of the factors that affects health, learning opportunities, job opportunities, and the right to make decisions in life of children, especially ethnic minority girls in Lao Cai province. Teenage childbirth in ethnic minority groups in Lao Cai is influenced by factors such as age of marriage, age at first pregnancy, education level, occupation, knowledge of contraceptive methods, and local customs. Therefore, local authorities need to strengthen and renew communication and advocacy activities to reach and directly support this social group. This will help reduce, move towards ending, and empower ethnic minority women across the province.
