Factors Affecting Entrepreneurial Inclination Among Angolan Students in the Philippines: Basis for Entrepreneurship Education and Training in Angola

Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing entrepreneurial inclination among a stratified sample of 56 Angolan students in the Philippines. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected via questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlations. Results indicated no significant relationship between student demographics and entrepreneurial inclination. However, a positive correlation was found between entrepreneurial inclination and both the university's role in promoting entrepreneurship and the perceived relevance of the entrepreneurial curriculum. The perceived relevance of the curriculum emerged as the strongest predictor of student engagement. These findings suggest that universities can positively influence students' entrepreneurial aspirations through targeted curricular interventions. Further research is needed to explore these relationships in other contexts.
